ACE Nutrition® understands the importance of protecting your personal information. The Privacy Act is government legislation that outlines the collection, retention, disposal, use and access to your personal information. ACE Nutrition® is committed to abide by the legislation. Privacy Policy for ACE Nutrition PRO App

1. Introduction
ACE Nutrition® is committed to protecting your personal information in compliance with applicable privacy legislation. By using our services, you agree to the terms outlined in this Privacy Policy.
2. Purpose of ACE Nutrition PRO
The ACE Nutrition PRO app by ACE Nutrition® provides features that allow you to: Register with ACE Nutrition® and access services. Schedule appointments with Dietitians through our integration with Jane software. Enroll in e-learning courses via Learnworlds software. Exchange messages with Dietitians and administrators. Access and manage your personal health record (if using our Jane portal). Receive science-based nutrition information as "Health Tips."
3. Definitions
Health Record: Includes details such as Dietitian names, client info (name, email, phone), health history, clinical notes, consents, and treatment plans. Personal Health Information (PHI): Information regarding your physical or emotional health, healthcare history, or any data collected in providing healthcare services. Personal Information: Identifiable data about an individual, including PHI. Privacy Incident: Any unauthorized or accidental access, use, or disclosure of Personal Information. Privacy Requirements: Relevant Canadian privacy laws regulating the use and protection of Personal Information.
4. Protecting Your Personal Information
ACE Nutrition® implements technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. We will notify you of any significant privacy incident in compliance with legal requirements. ACE Nutrition® is responsible for meeting all privacy standards applicable to processing your personal information within the app and associated products.
5. Security Measures
Our technology partner, Appstrt, applies robust security practices to protect your data, including: Controlled access to server areas. Use of SSL Certificates for secure communication. Comprehensive data protection policies and staff training. Regular risk assessments and threat mitigation.
6. Minors
You must be at least 16 years old to use the app. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, parental consent is required. Parents and legal guardians are responsible for reviewing this policy on behalf of minors.
7. Privacy Consent
By using the ACE Nutrition PRO App and providing personal information, you consent to its processing as outlined in this policy. You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us, subject to legal restrictions.
